Ultimately, nothing matters

In one of Napoleon Hill's books "Grow Rich- With Peace Of Mind" he writes about the phrase: ultimately, nothing matters.

I have decided to post it for the benifit of anyone who reads it here as well as for my own recollection. This is a very powerful phrase. It emphasizes that everything matters in its time and place.

In this relentless fast paced world that we live in, sometimes it is good to remind us of the phrase : ultimately, nothing matters.

It can help to bring perspective to the activities that we are absorbed in, be it work, family or recreation. It makes you balance up your life and be a peaceful person. It makes you strong and focused to do what is possible and desireable without taking yourself too seriously.

Your success is yours to make or break, but it can never be bigger than mankind. Therefore, success requires you to contribute to the good of mankind beyond the riches that you accumulate for yourself.

When Napoleon Hill wrote "Grow Rich- With Peace Of Mind," he was in his eighties. In this book he wrote, " I know have given to the world more than I have taken from it, and this is a great source of contentment to me."

These are words of profound inspiration indeed.
