Meetings

In a business context, meetings are for the purpose of exchanging information or to make decisions. Since meetings involve people with personal responsibilties it is important to keep the meeting productive by setting the agenda in advance and notifying the participants with timely notice.

You should know the outcome of the meeting and make it clear to the particpants. This will help the meeting to be conducted in an orderly manner sticking to the point on agenda and focusing to achieve the outcome by consensus.

A meeting is not a negotiation or a brain-storming session.
